ENTERPRISE

Beyond the engineering, F1 in Schools is fundamentally a business challenge. Every team is expected to operate like a real motorsport outfit — managing a budget, sourcing sponsorship, building a brand identity, and presenting their work to judges with the polish of industry professionals. Our team handles all of this internally: we plan and track expenditure against a defined budget, pitch to potential sponsors and partners, design our own livery and team portfolio, and coordinate roles across the group so that each member owns a specific area of responsibility. This enterprise dimension is what separates F1 in Schools from a typical school project — judges don't just evaluate the car, they evaluate the team: how organised we are, how clearly we communicate our decisions, and whether we demonstrate the kind of professional discipline you'd expect from a real engineering company. Strong management is what turns good technical work into a winning entry.
